My entire family continues to use these scissors; from my son the artist to my husband. These scissors are inexpensive, hold up well and do a surprisingly good job cutting all kinds of materials. I use them for needlepoint; one of the few pairs of scissors the airline will let you carry on the plane!

How many times I have needed scissors in the car as we have traveled. I have wrapped gifts, cut coupons, trimmed pictures for scrapbooking, sewed, embroidered, etc. as we have driven along, they are perfect as they are sharp and yet the ends will not poke you. I keep a pair in each of our cars and have used them many times.
