"The Air Wick Freshmatic Ultra Air Freshener is meant for an average-sized room. How large of an area it covers depends on several factors such as air flow and how often it is set to release fragrance (settings are at 9, 18, or 36 minute intervals). The batteries will last for 4-5 refills of fragrance. Each refill provides up to 2400 bursts of fragrance; the actual length of time a refill lasts will depend on the interval frequency. If it is set for 9 minute intervals, one refill can last up to 15 days. If it is set for every 36 minutes, one refill can last up to 60 days. How often you will need to replace batteries will depend on the frequency you choose; at 36 minutes,you may only have to replace batteries every 6-8 months. At 9 minutes, you may need to replace them after two months.
