This is right up there with Altec-Lansing's usual high quality! I acquired these to use as pluggable patio speakers as part of an extended sound system cabled from our computer network surround sound system. This way we can play music from any of the several PCs in the house when entertaining outdoors -- or plug in a laptop right next to them. They're small and easy to move, yet have great sound! At other times they're plugged into the surround system indoors using an MP3 splitter that's simple to use for either speakers or headphones. Excellent speakers that I'd definitely recommend.

These speakers are very stylish, and I have no complaints about the sounds quality, but it would be nice if I could plug headphones into them instead of having to disconnect them to use headphones.
