I like keeping my computer system simple. If I already have a Mic jack and an Audio jack on my computer, why not use them? You don't need USB in order to have Mute or Volume Control on your headset cord. No drivers needed. No control panel needed to switch inputs. Cheap, simple, and it works fine. It's what those Mic and Audio jacks are for.

It's an average headset - fairly comfortable - I had to buy 4 headsets, go out to my car, cut them all open and try them all on, and then return the 3 I didn't want in order to see if it was comfortable. Ridiculous practice. It works fine - nothing special, but it works. That's all I can hope for these days. I wouldn't spend more on the expensive ones - this one will do. The biggest issue is that I like the microphone on the right, and this only works on the left.

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the sound both in the earphones and the mic. I would recommend these to anyone looking for a good, inexpensive headset for Skype.

I bought this headset to do voip classes on line. They work great, Iam online at least (4) hours at a time and they do everthing I need them to do. I would recommend this product.

The sound was great through the earphones, but the microphone was very poor. Voice pickup was scratchy and had a distant quality to the sound, regardless of the mic position. I've replaced them already since they were use in teaching an online course where I need to talk to students. I was using them on my laptop, so the sound quality is not going to be great, but the replacements are considerably better than this product.

Did not pass usability test on Dragon Naturally speaking 10.1.
I would not recommend for use with Dragon software. It may be perfectly fine for other uses, though.

I use a laptop, and the sound has so much better quality when using this product. They are great for listening to and recording music. Although I plan on up-grading so that I can record my own voice with better quality, these have been perfect for trying out recording my voice with music. Great product for the money!
