Wood File Cabinet

This cabinet is beautiful and fits neatly under my workspace. However, when opening the file drawer, the unit tips forward because of the weight. Because it is under a table, the table top prevents it from tipping too much. So, that fixes the issue. I plan on placing a block between the cabinet top and the table to prevent it from tipping at all. But I would not recommend this cabinet it to anyone who wants to use it as a file cabinet. Maybe as a stand it would be more useful.

The item is a value item but works in a small office and looks like furniture not a utilitarian item. I do wish it locked but a lock would ruin the look of the item. Its clean, simple style could be used in a family room or living room if needed.

horrible experience. [...]it was ordered online. pieces had to be recut and screws had to be enlarged as ones that came did not work. disintegrated the pressboard and nothing would hold. would never do it again. hired a carpenter for 8 hrs for assembly.

MISSING HARDWARE/NO INSTRUCTIONS

No assembly instructions or hardware came with this item. I went through the box and packaging several times to make sure. I had to repackage and schlep this heavy thing back to the store. Very inconvenient and sloppy. Item also had an overpowering smell when I opened the package[...]
