I needed a bookcase immediately and this was available. It was what I expected, pressboard construction with a laminate finish - I know it will not hold up to to long term use - but for now, it will do. Overpriced for the quality. The pressboard is not high density, the backing very flimsy and poorly attached, and another shelf is needed. But, it's just a home office, storage bookcase, it will do.

This is a great product for the price. It is good quality as far as sturdiness goes. The only problem I had (and most irritating) was the 3 part flimsy board you have to attach to the back(constantly falls out of the groove engineered to keep it in place) and the lousy finishing nails that bend everytime you try to nail that back board to the shelf. I ended up nailing a few in (by luck)on an angle and used my own finishing nails.
All in all the shelf looks great, the depth is a little short for full binders but does the job. I've had these shelves for about a month now and they are good for what I paid.
