I was not going to purchase this desk because of some of the negative reviews, but with the sale price I decided to anyways. I am not sure what everyone was complaining about. Yes- it took about 6 hours and 3 people to assemble (the L shaped desk and hutch), but after all is said and done, it is a pretty solid desk. No, it is not the best made material- but you aren't going to get an Amish built hardwood desk for [$]. Overall, I am very happy with the look and the quality of this product for what I paid for it.

I ordered this desk because the style and color matched the scheme of my new home office, and the price on sale was great. However, after we assembled it, we noticed huge gauges on one of the boards. The manufacturer offered to send us a new board, but we would have to tear the whole thing apart and reassemble to replace that one board. Thankfully, we purchased the extended warranty and were able to get a replacement desk. Unfortunately, when the new desk arrived, I reviewed every piece before assembling and discovered that at least half of the pieces were damaged. If the pieces weren't damaged and it didn't take so long to assemble, it might be a decent desk.

Overall not too difficult to construct if you're doing it with another person and you have a lot of time set aside to build it. The final product was disappointing. The top drawer catches on the desk top. Also, the box was missing a drawer bottom so I have to wait for the last part to hopefully be sent to me. I was most excited to finally have a filing cabinet drawer to store some of my important information. It was a huge let down when the desk was built and I grabbed a file and it didn't fit.

I don't even know where to begin on this horrific product. How about from the beginning where we received horrible customer service at Staples. This product took 2hrs to put the hutch together and another 2 for the desk to get to the last steps of putting on the main top only to find a bubble in two spots on the laminate. Not only did Staples have (insert not so nice verbiage here) poor service the quality control at the manufacturer is apparently non existent. I am now $300 out of pocket, 2 days of getting it together and still don't have an assembled desk. 100% dissatisfied with product, store and manufacturer. I most likely will not buy from any of the three EVER again!!!!!!!

I just Purchased 2 of these desk for a business and as I am putting it together I notice I am missing a part (short side panel)G and I have 2 F side panels and only need the one so I call and order the new part and I open the other desk to get that part from it and it has the exact same thing in it 2 F,s and no G and I have a desk tore apart in an office that a business is run out of and have to wait 7 to 14 days for 2 parts to arrive because they WILL NOT express ship it!!Do not waste your time or money on one of these desk! The screw holes are not even drilled and you basically have to do that yourself too and parts do not line up correctly and I haven't even got it all together yet that is just the few parts I have put together!!! DO NOT BUY!!!!!

  This desk has two sides which are 58-1/2" wide each. This length should be enough to fit one monitors out side the hutch up to 39" wide. To Hutch has a dimension of (39.1" X 20.1") which will fit a monitor up to 44".
