This pieces of this item came with scratches and bubbles in the paint. The white end caps were in same bag as black screws so they got discolored and are basically gray. The only reason that I am keeping this item is that we will be using it in the basement. Had I wanted it in the main part of the house I would have returned it because the appearance is really impacted by all these defects.

Instructions were poor. Had to guess which way to put on hinges by peering at the tiny illustration of the hinges. Got it backwards and had to redo them.

I was disappointed that this cabinet has a cardboard back. I had read reviews on lower priced cabinet by same manufacturer which complained about the cardboar backing. I had hoped by paying $50 more for this item that it would have a solid back.

Also was surprised that the shelves for this unit were unpainted on one side. I recently bought those 6 and 9 storage cubes from another manufacturer. All the shelves were painted on both sides which allows the option to choose which is the best side to display. Quality of those items was far superior than this item.

I won't be buying from this manufacturer again due to the poor quality of this product.
