If You Don't want to Spend $500 and UP this is a Great Desk, for a Good Price. Other reviews have said all that you need to know about this Desk, but for the price it is a Good Desk. I looked at all the Pros and Cons in the reviews and decided to purchase this desk. First, the box is very heavy, I needed it to go on second floor, so I opened the box and carried it in pieces to the room. Next, Important! check to see that you have all the parts! I was missing one small nut, but it was an important part to the construction, [...] I also got a box with different compartments to put all the screws, cams and stuff and labeled them. The instructions do not explain how to put this desk together, but give step by step pictures of hardware used and what part of the desk you will be working on. I assembled the desk all by myself until it got to the part when you had to lift the desk after it was constructed and place it upside down on the top of the desk, placing it exactly on where the top would be attached. You will need help for this part. I would recommend that you put this desk together on a carpet or soft surface to avoid scratches. I also, purchased gliders for the bottom the the desk so that I could move the desk if needed later.

I can put it together in about 4 hours by myself. Unfortunately, the drawers do not close tightly and have gaps from sides. You buy what you pay for.

Looks good in a picture, but the poorest quality self-assemble furniture I've ever purchased. The laminate on the desktop was not finished properly and the slightest touch causes the laminate to flake off. Plastic cams mean you should not plan on moving the desk. Invest a few dollars more in a better quality desk, I wish I had.

The cam locks were PLASTIC! How can this be expected to last when the screws are metal and the locks are plastic. I was very disappointed. Even more disappointing is that metal cam locks are hard to find so I had to use the plastic cam locks.
