I liked the amount of surface area this desk provides. Also, I like the solid black laminate/faux gray granite laminate look - it matches other items in my den/office. However, I was very annoyed with the assembly directions which were very hard to understand. Also, the company provided only plastic cams - most laminate furniture are assembled with metal cams. If you didn't line the plastic cams up perfectly, you could strip them when you tried to tighten them. Additionally, this desk needs 3 people to put together - the desk is very heavy and hard to move once assembled. One last thing - I didn't expect drawer space (I could see it didn't have much), but I was disappointed that the area for the PC storage was very difficult to reach and gets in the way of your feet when you are sitting at the desk. But overall, for the price I paid, I am satisfied - now that it is all assembled!

the desk is great in size, the only thing is part of it is not finished. just bare edges and unfinished to where you have to use it in a corner pushed up against the walls.

It is a nice cheap desk. We ordered three and each had a little imperfection on the wood work. A couple of items don't quite line up. It is minor stuff but for the price I think they are decent desks
