The chairmat is used on a rug in an executive office. It has a nice color and seems to wear well. It looks good too... better than those plastic chairmats. We are contemplating getting one for all of our offices.

After going through SEVERAL plastic chair mats made specifically for carpets. I decided to shop throwing my money away. I specifically purchased it after receiving a chair mat that was already broken. The bamboo mat may cost more than the plastic ones, but it more than pays for itself.
As an added benefit, I laid flat as soon as I rolled it out.
