love the switch that allows you to change the fan speed, but the chord for it isn't too long so plan out how you will place it. One bit of advice, put the screws in before installing fan to make threads inside, otherwise it will be a pain to install.

Far too expensive

I was desperate for a couple of 80mm fans one day and I remembered I saw some at Staples. So, I went in and spent way too much on these fans. They work fine...Read complete review

I was desperate for a couple of 80mm fans one day and I remembered I saw some at Staples. So, I went in and spent way too much on these fans. They work fine and I like the 3 position switch I suppose, but I can get Sony Fluid Dynamic Bearing fans from half a dozen manufacturers for this price or less. Had I not needed a couple of fans immediately, there's no way I would have paid this price for fans like these.

I am using it as a side case fan to blow in room air to the graphics card and processor fans ( at the medium speed setting). I use a 120mm exhaust fan at the rear of the case. This setup works well for me, is cool and quiet and seems to be a better solution than using a fan at ths case inlet. This fan is very versatile and can be used in many ways. It works fine !

        Computer was totally quiet, then the fan failed, I bought this one at Staples. Now I cna hear my computer when I walk through the door even though it is 4 rooms away. Staples needs a new supplier for a fan, this one is junk
