This thermal grease is carbon based, which is better than the artic silver 5 which is metal based. Carbon based thermal grease works better than metal based thermal grease unless it is liquid metal which is usually made of gallium and is super expensive. I got my sony laptop processor to run at 38 degrees celsius after having to replace the cpu fan and thermal grease. Works at -30 to +250 degrees celsius and comes with a plastic knife so that you can spread it thinly and evenly around the CPU, this product won't crack or dry out. It is rated at 5.3 W/mk which for all non nerds it just means that the thermal conductivity is better. The lower the W/mk number is to zero the better conductivity the product gives when assisting the heatsink in drawing away heat from the processor or other semiconductor component.
