    Was skeptical about the reviews that this stuff is 10-15% better than metal based compounds but it turns out Wiki is right... diamond based compounds are better than the alternative metal ones. ...Read complete review

    Was skeptical about the reviews that this stuff is 10-15% better than metal based compounds but it turns out Wiki is right... diamond based compounds are better than the alternative metal ones. More expensive, but better. The only other compound that's said to be better is the liquid-metal based compounds but those are both rare and very expensive thus makes them unsavory in the enthusiast market. My O.C. CPU load temps went from 40 degrees celcius at idle to 65+ degrees celcius under 100% load to 27 dgrees celcius at idle to 50 degrees celcius under 100% load.... as you can see the temps are a remarkable change. Also, I only paid[...] at staples whereas it's [$] from [...]. I mentioned this in a similar review on their site but they censored and removed the post.

      This thermal paste, plus the Antec 25 Kuhler H2O water-cooled heat sink/fan combination, dropped the operating temperature of my processor (Intel 1156 2.8 GHz)from 88 degrees Celsius to 24 degrees. It only went up to 27 degrees after heavy use (video editing). Great products.

                Currently using this on a AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition Deneb 3.2GHz Socket AM3 125W Quad-Core Processor. Overclocked to 3.5Ghz and max temps reach 112'F. I am very happy with the performance of the compound. This is the best Antec has in the way of Thermal Compound.

                I also plan on using this on an 8-core processor next year.
