Q: I purchased this fan about five years ago. The fan now makes too much noise and I was going to replace it. One of the features I loved was that it was plugged into my USB port however I could then piggy back another thing to the plug into the USB. Therefore I never lost my USB port. Can anyone tell me if that is still accurate with this product. Asked on 3/2/2012 by Anonymous Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: If the Antec Laptop Cooler is making too much noise, then it's doubtful it can be used as a piggy back for USB at this point and should be returned. Q: I have a laptop that has a 14inch screen can I use this with my pc? Will it damage my pc if it does not fit 100% well? Thanks Asked on 10/13/2010 by Anonymous Know the answer? Answer this question 2 answers A: This will have no problem fitting your 14" laptop. This will not cause any kind of damage to your laptop. Answered on 12/27/2010 by Ryan from Staples A: My laptop is one of the largest you can find (17" screen) and it fits fine. Now, my friend has a small macbk pro and it is a little tricky getting it to sit on the rubber nubs that create the space in between the cooler surface top and the bottom of the lap top but it does fit. Q: Does the laptop have to be "connected" to the Antec Cooler or not? Asked on 2/21/2010 by oldman from Chattanooga, TN Know the answer? Answer this question 3 answers A: The cooler is NOT battery operated. The laptop and cooler are connected by a usb that is provided with the cooler. Answered on 3/16/2010 by The Employee from Mission Viejo, CA A: The laptop just sits on top... only physical connection is the USB power cable. The surface is aluminum (plastic sides and bottom) and there are 4 hard-rubber pegs that you must install in each corner (a bit of a tight fit but then again they won't fall out on you either) and the laptop sits on those to allow increased airflow. Answered on 5/25/2010 by Andrew from Greensburg, IN A: The cooler connects to the laptop via USB. The installation is exceedingly easy. All components are included in the cooler. Just plug it in to one of your USB ports. Answered on 8/4/2010 by jz from Bellevue, WA
Q: Is this laptop cooler comfortable if used on your lap, and is it light weight? Asked on 1/8/2010 by Gajo from Bellmore, N.Y. Know the answer? Answer this question 5 answers A: yes, it is light wieght and the fans built in the bottom directs the air away from your lap so you can sit it on your lap and work. It is rather large though so depending on the size of your lap it may make for akward work space. Answered on 1/12/2010 by Tech Savy Doctor from Livingston, NJ A: I can only answer half of your question, since I do not use it on my lap. However, the cooler is very light weight and not a problem. Answered on 1/13/2010 by Tony from Ontario, NY A: light weight: NO; average weight Yes runs cooler, I like the two fans Answered on 1/16/2010 by ROBERT from HOUSTON, TX A: Yes, I find it is comfortable, light weight and use it frequently on my lap. Answered on 2/9/2010 by pj from Zephyrhills FL A: The cooler is fairly comfortable and is definitely light weight. I am very satisfied with the cooler. Dimensions: 13" x 11.2" x 0.85", 2.76" Fan Answered on 12/1/2009 by Customer Care from Staples A: Yes, I support an office of over 10 brokers that use this product. Q: How many fans does it have? The design looks like it would slip around under the computer instead of serving as a pad. Please clarify. Asked on 11/9/2009 by Anonymous Know the answer? Answer this question 2 answers A: 2 fans Answered on 11/10/2009 by Tink from Colorado A: Two fans and a hi/lo switch. Yes, the rubberized feet depth should be somewhat closer for some laptops, so carefully place yours on the cooler. Once in position, it should remain stable.
