I use this mainly when doing dishes.. I have several injuries that make standing over a few minutes quite painful. The softness of this mat allows me to do more before having to take a break. Wish i had a couple more for area's around the house that I have to stand to do things. Well worth the current cost. I'm a penny pincher ... this fit the quality needed with the price that was also needed.
