It would be better if you could see the files and access them, similar to an external hard drive. But it worked perfectly to allow me to resolve a problem by doing a complete wipe of my hard drive and reinstalling everything. My files and data migrated back perfectly from the Time Capsule.

My computer is an iMac with 8 gigs of Ram. I also have a partition between Mac and windows to run two different operating systems on the same computer. The partition is VMware Fusion. The Time capsule rounds out the system. Every item that I use is compatible with Apple. With the extra memory the overall computer performance is like a rocket ship and every thing is backed up hourly automatically. The built in Two stage router switches automatically as needed with fast down load speeds. Every feature runs automatically. Avoid using this Time Capsule in Tandem with another router to avoid conflict.

I had to change Network setting to DHCP and NAT using AirPort Utility. I also had to change the Wireless Security to WPA/WPA2 Personal and then everything worked great.
Speed of WiFi was double my old 802.11g wireless router. Now wireless internet is just as fast as ethernet internet speed. I can transfer data from one computer to another at 90 mbps wirelessly. My wireless internet speed went from 23 mbps with my old router to 54 mbps on this new one. It has an enterprise level HDD so it should last.
