i bought this product about a year ago and loved it at first - the product stays in place and does a great job protecting my desk. i didn't actually use the hide-away function, but it was nice that it was there. now, however, the clear vinyl top has warped extensively, and no longer sits flush with the bottom layer. in fact, its natural position is now over 1 inch above the desk. nothing appears to be able to remedy this situation, so i've got to pitch this one and try to find a higher quality product.

Love the fact that it has a flap (you would never know it) that you can put private papers or notes under. It looks great on my desk and protects the desks from scratches.
