    I bought my first Krystal View desk pad for my teacher's desk at school. It was great as a clear, protective cover, and I loved how I could stick photos, memos, and all kinds of other things under it so everything would stay put and protected until I wanted to re-organize.

    What's more, I found the surface made all of my pens seem to work MUCH better, and that writing was much more comfortable. The surface was smooth with just the right amount of "give."

    When I landed in a wheelchair, my father made a desk to fit over the arm rests of the chair so I could write, compute, eat, etc. more comfortably while in the chair. No matter how much he sanded and no matter how nice a finish he'd put on it, though, it just wasn't as nice as what I had had on my office desk at school. I bought another Krystal View desk pad, cut it to the shape of my wheel chair desk, held it on with clear, double-sided tape, and I'm in LOVE! It was very easy to cut. The surface is fantastic for writing on, eating on, AND doing crafts on!

    Everyone that sees my wheelchair desk with the pad on it thinks it's incredibly good-looking, and can't believe the top finish is simply a desk pad.

    The ONLY thing I've had to watch out for is really protecting the surface well when using expoxy-type glues and super glues. Both kinds of adhesive damage the surface, if I get them on it.

    I have Krystal View not only on my main desk, but on a back-up desk, as well. I have even used pieces of the pad material to make super heavy-duty stencils. The product is so easy to cut and easy to clean and yet is so durable, I just wish I could cover my whole dining room table with it to protect THAT surface, as well!

    I just can't recommend the Krystal View desk pad highly enough! I marked myself as "Quality-oriented," but I'm also "Value-oriented," and this product fits BOTH sides of me!

    Neither of the two surfaces on this desk pad has a grip. I've had to anchor it to my desk by putting my computer and several other heavy objects on top of it, as it slides around without them. I was looking for something with more of a grip so that I could use it primarily as a writing surface. I suppose I made the mistake of assuming that all desk pads had at least one anti-slip surface. While I do intend on keeping the product, I am somewhat disappointed.
