This is the second one I've purchased and am pretty satisfied. I do worry a bit about the fact that the manufacturer recommends against use with lacquer, urethane or acrylic finishes since that is about 90% of what desks are finished with.

This desk pad is nice because it doesn't obscure the desk color and I can put photos underneath the pad. Looks great and is great for my high schooler doing his homework on my desk.
