      I just purchased a new desk and want to protect the surface. This pad works very well. Can still see the wood finish and the pad looks really good on top of it. It stays clean with just a simple wipe. The edges of the pad have some minor flaws but not bothersome enough to return the pad. I have just ordered another pad of the exact same size for an older desk that is in excellent condition so as to keep it in it's current condition.

        Good size, covers desk area well. The only minor con is that the corners curl up and have to turn it around once in a while otherwise I would have given it a 5 rating. Just what I wanted for my computer desk. Provides good desk surface protection. Easy to clean and keep clean.

                I love it and can't have my desk without it. Does need to be replaced every couple of years as it does get dirty and one can't really clean it. Don't buy the smaller sizes, though, as they're not as effective in protecting your surfaces. They stick to the wood and mar the surface.

                  Is this product flexible enough that I can lift up the edge on a daily basis to put my post it notes under it without cracking it. Can you use everyday sissors or do you have to use a cutting knife to trim it to size? Can it be used on my wooden desk? I have no idea what material they put on wood? How thick is it?                     It is made of vinyl so it can be cut, but would need a pair of heavy duty scissors possibly. Yes, it can sit on a wooden desk. Yes, it is flexible enough that you can pick up an edge.
