Impressive headphones

I have a high end stereo home theater setup and several headphone and earbud listening devices. This headphone has the best sound reproduction of all of the brands I own. The high and midrange music notes are clear and crisp and the bass is spectacular. It is hard to believe you are listening to a headset with such perfect sound quality reproduction. You can really hear the difference the noise cancelling feature provides by turning off the switch while you are listening. The vinyl pads on the ear pieces are my least favorite feature. I have other types of material on other headphones that are more comfortable on the ear.

It only works if I plug it halfway into my laptop. And sometimes I can't find the exact place where it works.

This is weird; when I plug it all the way in (like every other device I've used) to watch a movie, I only get music and other sounds, but no voices!

I returned it once already and will have to check with Audio Technica about what's going on.

But it's lousy to buy a tool to use on all my plane flights in order to hear my computer and I can't.

I bought these to use while down streaming TV shows on my tablet. I had a hard time figuring out how to position the plug to give me stereo sound.

I bought these because of the cost and the noise canceling. They sound better than the Beats I have which were $ 150 more. I am very pleased with the balanced sound and the noise canceling while not perfect is more than satisfactory. The construction seems good and the case is nice because you can put the headphones back in without a hassle. Overall I would recommend these to others who may not need a super high end headphone and do not want to pay a lot but still want good sound. You will not be disappointed if you buy these on sale.
