Impressive headphones

I have a high end stereo home theater setup and several headphone and earbud listening devices. This headphone has the best sound reproduction of all of the brands I own. The high and midrange music notes are clear and crisp and the bass is spectacular. It is hard to believe you are listening to a headset with such perfect sound quality reproduction. You can really hear the difference the noise cancelling feature provides by turning off the switch while you are listening. The vinyl pads on the ear pieces are my least favorite feature. I have other types of material on other headphones that are more comfortable on the ear.

It only works if I plug it halfway into my laptop. And sometimes I can't find the exact place where it works.

This is weird; when I plug it all the way in (like every other device I've used) to watch a movie, I only get music and other sounds, but no voices!

I returned it once already and will have to check with Audio Technica about what's going on.

But it's lousy to buy a tool to use on all my plane flights in order to hear my computer and I can't.

Does a surprisingly good job of keeping out noise when on an airplane. Good value for the price. Got them for half price.

I am reasonably pleased with the quality and price. With the external quieting switch off it is very heavy on base and lacking on upper frequencies. This vastly improves when the switch is on, but still a little lacking in the upper range. The base is awesome, at times it sounds like a subwoofer in your ears. Not all external sounds are sufficiently deadened, but it's pretty good overall

The only downfall of these headsets is no inline volume... Otherwise I chose this set over my other one and decided I would keep these inside instead of being used to mow the yard & working out only because I don't want to get them all sweaty LOL I'm impressed with the Noice Cancelling quality and also how they are very comfortable... As far as stylish and being compact, they hold their own, as far as what they are. I use these to relax while others are watching tv and the noise from the tv doesn't bother me at all !!!

when travelling in bus, produces strange rattling kind of noise whenever there is vibration (like bus going over rough road). Not sure if it is just my unit or there is a product issue. Have not contacted for warranty. But deciding to keep it since it sounds great otherwise.
