    The pen is a great writting tool. I was not sure that I was going to like it when I first got it. I had it in my center console in my truck for a long time. Then I needed a pen for my checkbook, and remembered that it was in my center console. So, I used it for the writting the check. It was really nice and smooth. It has a good feel in your hand, but when you go to put the cap if you do not put it in the correct place, it will not close. The cap is set so that it only goes on one way. It is not to bad, but it is a pain in the backside when you go to put it back on. It has to be in one specific place.
    Other then that, it is a very nice pen.

                Is the SilkScribe Ink delivered through a ballpoint-type tip, or is it more similar to a rollerball or some other instrument? Thank you.

                  The Avant pens are closer to a rollerball than a ballpoint. You should find that the ink is delivered smoothly and dries quickly. Many people seem to like the smooth delivery of the pen.
