I have successfully used this product for over 3 years on a monthly basis to number attachments for a monthly Board of Directors report.
My only problem has been overordering the product too far in advance - as the adhesiveness is not as effective if the product sits around too long (but I would consider this a "user" error not a product fault).

I tried to use these as tabs- they were horrible. Stuck together, fell off the paper, stuck to other pages. Abysmal performance.

The template comes with colored areas that print on the tabs and make the drab colors even more drab and dull - I had to rework the template to eliminate this. I love the tabs (because you can stick them on anything and they are printable) but I would like to see a better, brighter palette of colors.

I finally discovered these color-coded self-sticky tags a couple years ago after trying various methods to divide meeting packets into reasonable sections. I've never hand-written on them so I can't speak for their performance with hand-written labels, but I put them through my laser printer after filling out the very straightforward Avery template and have only been thoroughly pleased with the output. Five divisions/colors are just right for my purposes. A high quality, highly recommended product.
