My graduating son used these due the associates suggestion. And boy was she right. We did the ink in hunter green and used yellow envelopes to send out his announcements. His school colors just POPPED! He was tickled pink.:)We were so concerned about not finding linen paper in green to the match the envelopes. So my son choose to use the paper(blue) we had left from his older bro's 2007 graduation. Aleisha suggested this product as a compromise and with the graduate hats she added in green flanking his name, the return labels were marvelous against that yellow envelope. We didn't mind the blue paper and the colored labels were ONLY 1.20 or less per sheet. "You go Aleisha, you did us well honey." We plan to use some of the remaining labels to send thank you's. But will now use the colors of the College he will be a grad of RED(ink) & WHITE(envelopes) ...."Go Cornell!"

I printed addresses out on three pages for my Christmas cards. These cards are a reproduction of one of my paintings and are scanned, printed, and trimmed to a size that will fit into a 5 x 7 envelope. By the time I'm done, I'm looking forward to printing out address labels for the last easy step. I was disappointed when they printed out much darker than the addresses on the screen. Also they were hard to separate because of the white on white. I think there should be a colored line on the outside edge of each label in order to peel it away from the backing more easily.

I purchased these for a mass mailing for personal use. You must be extremely careful that the item is very secure in the tray before printing on a general home use printer. If you are not, the subtle vibration blurs the characters making them appear bolded. The result is inadequate white space in between the characters which makes reading difficult - for you and the postman which could delay delivery. In addition, I learned quickly that it takes time for the ink to set on this product. Handling it too quickly results in smearing. In the future I will revert to paper labels.

Avery needs to CLEARLY define printer types for labels. I have an ink jet (not a laser) and the transparent labels I bought smeared and had to be printed one sheet at a time and dried carefully in order not to smudge. Maybe this was my fault but it is not clear that LASER labels should not be used in INK JET printers.

I used these labels for my bridal shower invitations. They worked really well, but you have to let them sit for a few days to dry. I learned this the hard way.
