I bought these planning to print personalized recipe cards for a customer at my stationery shop. However, the cards are very flimsy and the edges are ragged. I was hoping for clean edges. The template worked fine. But the quality isn't what I want to please my customers.
Comments about Avery® 3" x 5" Laser & Inkjet Index Cards:
My boss wanted me to purchase some index cards to use for a project she was working on. She would be using our color copier instead of my little printer because she wanted the cards in color. I did the research and found that Avery might be the product to use for this project. I purchase a pack and tried them out to see if they would show the bright colors on the card. I showed them to my boss and she was so thrilled with the end result that she made me go buy more packages. I ended up buying a total 7. The only problem that I can see with this product is that they do not offer it in larger quantities.
Comments about Avery® 3" x 5" Laser & Inkjet Index Cards:
I am a ham radio operator, We confirm short-wave radio contactw with what we call "QSL Cards". Subsequently, these cards are sent and exchanged with other hams around the World.
These index cards are perfect for pre-printing as well as lightweight enough for International maiing. This particular size card is also very economical to use because I am able to print only the amount of cards needed at any one time.
The size of the card makes it possible to include several at one time into an International envelope.
Comments about Avery® 3" x 5" Laser & Inkjet Index Cards:
In marketing for retail I find these cards extremely easy to use, they hold good color, and the size is perfect for featuring products on a shelf. I like the weight of the cardstock and I would recommend them to anyone.
I apologize, but we do not carry any printable colored index cards. However, we may be able to special order some for you. Please contact us at 800-333-3330 for further assistance.

Q:
Can you print on both sides of Avery® 3" x 5" Laser & Inkjet Index Cards by Avery??
Yes, but you have to turn the page over and be sure you are printing on the back of the correct one -- remember there are three cards on a page.

Yes, you have to be careful to feed it through properly to get the 2nd side lined up. However, they are rather flimsy and there are probably better alternatives.
