The labels are perfect for my application. The primary purpose is for addressing boxes and heavy envelopes when I send packages to my daughter and grandson. They are also great (much better than index cards) for labeling and dating storage boxes of old papers that I put away for future reference. It is easy to erase and change the dates when the label needs updating.

Although the package says they are not intended for use with ink jet printers, I find that I can easily use them to print addresses from the address book in my word processor.
