Too slick

I tried printing these labels in four different printers. In each case I had several pages extremely misalign when entering the printer. This caused a high percentage of waste.

I was able to reduce the waste by hand feeding single sheets into a new HP injet printer and pushing them lightly into the printer as they fed. Still, several did not align properly.

I believe the label backing is too slick. I interlaced some plain paper between sheets of the labels and made printing run. All plain paper pages printed correcly and 80% of the labels did not feed far enough into the printer to align correctly.

  It's a standard 8.5 x 11 format for the base sheet, so it should work fine. Microsoft Word helps with formatting labels as it has references to the Avery product number, 8162 in this case.
