#8164 labels weren't cut properly.

This was a major disappointment!

This was a major disappointment!
I've successfully used many sizes of Avery labels for years in various projects, but this will be THE LAST TIME for THIS product.

These 8164/8254 inkjet labels were cut incorrectly at the factory.

The top margin of EVERY sheet of labels was cut LARGER than the bottom margin. Or, if you reverse the sheets, then the top margin was SMALLER than the bottom margin.

I was doing a color background image that was supposed to be 'borderless' and it was absolutely impossible to get the labels to align properly to achieve that effect in Apple iWorks Pages '09.
So I tried using the Avery template available for Microsoft Word, thinking that maybe using THEIR template would correct the problem, since I was unable to 'adjust' my color graphic enough in the printing process. WRONG! The Avery template had a 'gray' outline of what SHOULD have been the border of each label, and it printed 'off-register' from the incorrectly-cut labels, so that now, I have off-register labels, AND the Avery off-register template outline printing on each label.

Why did I not just take them back?
Difficult to do when the store is closed and the deadline is 8 AM

    I use these labels ALL the time! I am super organized and they allow me to be that way. They are pretty easy to use and you can stick them right on to whatever you need. I download the template from Avery.com so I can type right in them and then print them our and voila! Organization at its easiest! They are the perfect size and are great quality. I've even had to pull a couple off a folder and reposition it and they still stick perfectly! Which is awesome so you don't need to waste a whole new label!
