I really like these labels. I run a direct sales/home party business and send postcard invitations to hundreds of people every month. I get different sized guest lists from my hosts, and I don't always fill a 30 label sheet. I just use it again. The first time I tried to run a half empty sheet of 8160's through my printer, I was afraid it wouldn't hold up. The label page went through just fine!
I also like the "easy peel" feature. If I do fill the whole page of labels with addresses, I peel the extra sticky stuff off and tear the page apart at the perforations. Then the edges of the labels are hanging off for easy grabbing and peeling.
If I only fill part of the page with addresses, I save the rest of the page to use later. Even my cheap printer that came with my Dell laptop took the half filled sheets. Now my nice, new Canon copier/printer/scanner takes the half filled sheets, too.
The program to download is free. You just go online and download it from there. It's pretty easy to follow and all the different size Avery labels can be made and printed from that download. My old Dell laptop didn't always work correctly with the Avery program, but it didn't work well with any extra programs. I had and have XP not Vista, BTW.

I use the labels to identify product I put into bags. These bags can get handled a couple of times and the labels come off. I have to put alot of pressure on it to make it stay. Too much work.
Comments about Avery® 8460 White Inkjet Address Labels with Easy Peel, 1" x 2-5/8", 3,000/Box:
Not cheap, but consistent in quality and innovative -- reducing pull-off-the-backing-sheet-labor with newly perforated backing sheets. Peeling hundreds of labels has never been easier.
