Top of the line

I bought these as a refill for the larger Avery kit I purchased earlier, and the same comments about the quality apply here. They're a litle more money than the other labels, but they're darn well worth it. Avery has everything you need to print the labels "on target" and to help you place them squarely on your CDs and cases. It actually has more guides printed on the stock than other brands I've tried. Their perforations for separating the label from the rest of the stock are very fine and pull apart easily and cleanly.

If a professional look is your goal, then these are the materials and the brand to give it to you.

Have to turn the inset sideways for it to fit. Not good. How coud you have made that mistake???

Downloaded the free Avery software and it was fairly easy to figure out and worked better than the expensive software I had purchased earlier. Inserts are easy to print out and apply to the jewel cases.

I'm a performer who records complete programs, copies them on CD, packages in full jewel-cases, writes program notes and bio and sells the finished product. Liked the product better when faces and trays were separate items; don't like the perforations on the current tray forms. On the other hand, precise construction of product enables me to print on inside front cover. Would prefer separate fronts and trays so fronts could be glossy.

  yes, it works for slim cases, but you have to be careful with the front/back area as the two panels aren't the same size. When you put the cover art on the template (software), stretch it to exceed the area for the front/back panel, then, after printing, separate the front panel first, and use it to select the correct perforation for the front/back panel. Otherwise you will end up with a white area at the bottom of the front/back panel. This is easy enough to do, and then it works fine for slim cases.
