These are great lables in that you don't waste any
as they print as a matched set. BUT, in some HP PhotoSmart printers, the printer fails to detect

These are great lables in that you don't waste any
as they print as a matched set. BUT, in some HP PhotoSmart printers, the printer fails to detect
the top of the paper because Avery has printing
too close to the edge. I have a resolution to this
that works 100% of the time. Put a strip of masking tape the width of the paper to cover the
printing at the top of the sheet. Also, I print a
CopyRight notice on the back of the Jewel Case label.

After much trial and error I was able to lay out the graphics, text and backgrounds I wanted. However, the next time I opened the program all of the settings looked the same but the printing was nothing like the original. I had to re-enter everything and print samples in order to adjust the colors. The view on the screen and the printed CD looked nothing alike.

Not only are they fun to design they make CD's look great. The templates are designed to align with slimline and regular jewel cases for easy labeling of CD's.

I make copies of concerts performed by my singing group. We perform two concerts per year and each DVD given to the members has a completely different appearance, per concert, and makes for a wonderful library for them.

  You would be able to type towards the center of the label, however there still would be the hole in the middle of the CD that the program would take account for.
