I used the product to black out personal information on mailings before recycling the paper or throwing the paper in the trash.

When I look at the blocked out address, I could still read the address sometimes.

The markers are nontoxic. That is one reason I chose Marks-A-Lot over other brands.

The markers are great for writing phone numbers in large bold print for a sight-impaired family member.

This is a good marker for blocking out text. The broad tip covers more territory. Not good for fine or detailed work. This marker also good for bold text that needs to show up at a distance.
