Many food products and other perishables that I buy don't have "use by" dates on them or they are hard to read. To ensure that I use these products in some order and don't leave a can in the back of the cupboard for ten years, I use these labels to mark the date (mo/yr) on each can, jar, box, and other package when I buy it. These labels are just the right size and are very easy to apply. (However, they don't always remain stuck on refrigerated items.)

I have been using Avery products for 45+ years & they have never disappointed me. Products are varied, they seem to always have "just the right product" for my applications. Usually a tremendous value - please don't change that! And, Avery seems to be keeping up with the times by adapting their products to new uses while keeping the "old favorites" for those of us more "traditional" types!
