    My 2009 Daily Journal (yes, I DO write in it every day!) had a VERY useful pocket in the back. The blank-page book I purchased for journal use in 2010 did not have such a pocket. These "CD" pockets work perfectly to save and protect such things as advance tickets that I have purchased, business cards, etc. I did add a stick-on Velcro fastner to make sure nothing falls out.

      Needed something to be able to keep a CD that has family history on it with the pages that I had printed out so that I would be able to have it all together incase another family member doing geneology will be able to have acess to it.

        I love the fact that you can store business cards and other small items in a pocket that also organizes separate sections of a notebook. Because it is "see-through," there is not a problem with covering up something important.
