    These tags were bought for a convenient way to mark my herbal products where labels would not work. They are also great to use as temporary labels that will stay where you put them until no longer needed. They can be used this way a very long time because of their durability.
    The outer edges of the tag can be shaped with craft scissors to give them a less industrial look. They can be used as a sturdy base and then covered with scrapbooking paper to give them a distinctive look. They can be tinted wtih markers, or painted. Calligraphy works well as long as there have been no erasures on the card stock. Scrapbooking tokens such as chip board or small metal objects can be glued to the surface. Stickers and decals show very well on the neutral manila background. This is why I bought a box of 500. Make sure it is with string NOT the ones with wires. Wires will break after a few uses.
