With a lot of highlighters; if you use them on ink jet print outs, the tip turns black. Then if you try to highlight something else, you get the black mixed in. This product has done a pretty good job of avoiding that so far. Colors are bright, with smooth action during use. The only issue I have is with the shape of the tip. It's cut in a way where you have to hold it just right, or you'll get an uneven line. Other than that, this was a great buy!

They are super uncomfortable to use. It is difficult to get my thumb to reach to depress the end of pen and expose the highblighter tip. Once I am awkwardly able to depress the pen clip presses into my fingers or palm. Ouch. I don't have unusually small hands. I have a few of the yellow Sharpie highlighters and LOVE them. This set was a few bucks cheaper for the multi-colors. Wish I wouldn't have gone for value at the cost of sacrificing practicality. I have put them in a drawer and not touched them since purchasing. My daughter who loves to get my office "hand-me-downs" tried them and won't use them either. No comment on the ink quality...can't get past how uncomfortable they are to use.

I really enjoy these so I don't have to deal with keep up with a cap (and I'm a cap-chewer). It started off great but after only using for three or four days the pink doesn't have its vibrancy anymore. Needs more ink!
