I create handmade cards. I find the Mark-it pens superior to other markers mainly because each color is named on the pen. I never have to worry about testing the colors to be sure they match on multiple card designs. Wish I could purchase a package of 12 in a single color on the colors I use most often!

I use the pens to illustrate poetry, to make cards and books for friends and to create illustrations to color copy and share with friends. The colors in the Bic pens are vibrant and blend well. When coloring in a sky, even in a very small picture, the ink runs dry before getting very far. I have purchased other brands with much more staying power. Also, one of the pens had an outpouring of white felt....like a flag and was not usable....Better quality control would be a plus.
Comments about BIC Mark-it™ Fine Point Permanent Markers, Assorted, 36/Pack:
My 13 year old daughter wanted a pack of fine line permanent markers to color more detailed pictures. This pack had the most markers at the best price, and I did shop around before purchasing them. The package is very sturdy and great for storing the markers. Would not recommend for younger children as they are permanent markers.

I'm using them on a Dover Art Nouveau Windows Stained Glass Coloring Book that I picked up at a museum. I haven't colored in years, but these markers make these projects look like the real thing (almost).
