Half the price of o Sharpie so I thought I would give these a try. Big mistake ! The push button open/close is attached to the clip...So when you grab the pen, if its not in the perfect position you're holding the clip and have difficulty opening the pen. Yeah a small problem but if Sharpies' are perfect and these have a design flaw, who cares how much you save.

been using this particular type of marker in our rabbit barn, thru dirt, hair, dust, etc, it just keeps on working, and love the one handed operation you won't get with other markers. tried the sharpie click, but it kept stopping after about 2 weeks of using it. please make it easier to find them, I've hunted over a year in all types of stores, nobody carries them, finally found the highlighters in the local Staples and then they ordered them for me.

Someone should have thought about this type a long time ago. I love that they're not constantly drying out, like others with just a cap, that I normally misplace.

Q:
our mechanics need a marker that writes thru' virtually everything, including oil. They have 1 marks a lot brand w/fine tip (can't locate it on site); would like to see if Staples Bic brand would work. Like the reviews it rec'd. Want to save company $, so please advise. Thanks.
The BIC® Mark-it® Retractable Permanent Marker does write on oily and damp surfaces, similar to the Sharpie Clickie markers, and the retractable feature means you are never looking for the cap.
