This one's ok. But did Bic discontinue the original grip, or did Staples simply stop carrying it? I'm all for new designs, but why mess with a good thing. I'm sure there's still a market, especially among those of us who'd rather not grasp squishy pencils.

Used old fashioned wooden pencils until I found this reliable mechanical one. Other mechanical pencils cost more or the lead broke easily. I switched from mechanical back to wooden years ago for that reason but then found this and am back to mechanical.

Use these mechanical pencils instead of regular, I hate to have to sharpen a pencil! These work every time, and when they are out of lead, just throw them away.
