Great colors & easy operation!

My kids love the great colors. They are over the boring brown #2 pencil life that they had in elementary school. We do purchase the replacement lead which is easy to handle.

I bought this because it was on sale. I am a middle school classroom teacher and my students did not mind using these mechanical pencils. Their only complaint was that the lead broke a lot but I hear that complaint when they use any mechanical pencils. They enjoyed that it came in several different colors and they enjoyed picking their colors. I look for deals first when I am looking for a mass number of mechanical pencils in my classroom. It needs to come out to less than a quarter each. When staples was running a sale. This did that. They also have to be decently comfortable. Not the extremely uncomfortable cheap ones. These were the medium of the road.

              After buying refillable mechanical pencils and unsuccessfully trying to refill them, even with the assistance of staff in the store, this product is a G-dsend. I use them for taking notes at work, and they work great when I do sudoko and crossword puzzles. I keep them everywhere: my desk, purse, kitchen, den and bedroom. The pencils are easy to find since they come in different colors. I have introduced them to friends, clients, and family who are also pleased. I highly recommend that you try them!

                  Thicker. It's a measurement, not a label that refers to something else. The metric used here is millimeters (mm). The higher the number, the more there is, just like weight or height, or any measurement. Hence, the higher the mm number, the thicker - and more sturdy - the lead.
