I use the red + green ink pens everyday for both personal and business purposes as the notations stand out clearly to give instructions or get attention directed where needed. I have bought plenty of blue ink BIC pens, but have never had one work yet. They do not write at all. Therefore, I have stopped buying or using the blue BIC round stic pens.[@]

Bic round stick grip pens with red ink are comfortable to write with. I especially like the brilliant red ink which is easy to read and attention-getting for my notes and corrections when I am proofreading essays. Occasionally I will use my red ink pen to write a sentence or two on a greeting card, but my primary purpose for red ink is to create attention-getting notations which are easy to locate among my usual blue or blank ink essays. The "redness" of the ink is pretty, also. It is not too brown or too orange.

    I usually buy the fine point pens so that as a teacher I can easily record grades in my gradebook. I also use the red pens for correcting. Bic has always been a great brand, and the price has always been very reasonable. The price makes it easy for me to replace ones that I have misplace. The pens do last a long time also. I also put a box of them in the school office for other teachers to use. Other teachers have appreciated getting these pens. I also like to use the fine point pens for my checkbook since that is also a amaller area for recording!
