Great layout, poor construction

I love the product, however, the instructions were very, very poor. I will never purchase another product by this company despite how much I love the overall design of this desk.

Problem: Instructions inform you to 'screw in' the legs tightly; doing so will force the metal stud through the product leaving a large unattractive bump on the top of the desk. The problem for me is hidden behind my mouse pad and keyboard, but a serious problem none the less.

This is not Staples' fault, but I would never purchase this desk again.

Future buyers, be VERY careful while putting this product together.

I like the desk so far (I've had it a week). Fits into the corner nicely, looks good, not too big or too cheesy. The only complaint I have is the rough edges! Makes it kind of uncomfortable to rest my forearms on the desk edge while using the keyboard or mouse but I'm getting used to it.

Arrived earlier than promised in good condition by a friendly UPS man. No complaints.

Got this desk for our son's room while he was away from home in Army basic training. We up dated his room and needed a desk that wouldn't take up a lot of space but still work for him. This was it!
