I chose this chair because it seemed to be the most adjustable in the price range I needed. I wanted to be able to adjust the chair to fit me. Unfortunately, this chair was not a model they keep on the floor, so I was unable to try it before I bought. I wish I had, because I'm finding this chair uncomfortable despite the adjustability. The features I'm having particular problems with are the hard as rock seat, and the VERY uncomfortable, unpadded lumbar support. The lumbar support consists of a curved metal piece. It's edges stick out from the mesh back of the chair, and dig into my spine. My only choice for comfort is to dial the lumbar support all the way back until there is none. It's an extremely bad design. On the plus side, the many adjustments make it easy to fit everything else to my preferences, and the base rolls very smoothly. But due to the uncomfortableness of the lumbar support and seat, I can't possibly recommend this chair to anyone.

I'm a software consultant and spend a lot of time behind a computer. This chair is great. [...] was easy to assemble. The thing I love the most is the swivel armrests. They rotate outwards diagonally. This is perfect for me since I most often sit cross-legged or "indian style" in my chair and normally the armrests get in my way. The only weak point would be the headrest. Like the headrests on most chairs, only good if you are napping... :)

I have had this chair for 1 hour and I HATE IT!!! The arms do not adjust in which makes it really uncomfortable to use a keyboard, where your arms need to be inward and not outward. This is especially a problem because the arm rests not only do not move in, they face outward; this is great if you sit at your desk like Jesus. The other problem with the arms rests is that they dip in on top rather than curved or round so they hurt to use them other than having your arms facing outward. The height of the chair will not lower very far. I am 5`9" and for my feet to be flat on the ground, my thighs have to bend oddly. The head rest does not go back very far and it is unconfortable to use. For the same price I should have gotten a [...] chair.

This is hands down the worst chair I have ever used. The lumbar support is unpadded and made of hard plastic, which cuts into your back. The seat is hard as a rock and overall the chair is very uncomfortable. This chair should be removed from the inventory and [...]should be ashamed for pushing it as "ergonomic". Our office had four more of these on order and we have just canceled all of them and are returning the one that just arrived today.

After reading the 3 available reviews, I wasn't sure if this chair was the wisest choice. I am glad I did order it!! There are 4 different users, 2 adults and 2 children (16 & 13 years) height ranging from 5' to 6', and weight 102lbs to 230lbs. We all adjust the chair according to our physical needs and comfort and we have not encountered any problems.Instructions on various lever operation would be extremely helpful. This chair surpasses the expensive executive chair that I have in my corporate office! We like it so far.

The chair is reasonably comfortable! The head reast will not adjust low enough (I am 6'3") but sometimes I could use a lower adj. The arm rest are not comfortable at all and are very unstable.
