I have arthritis and had my knees replaced. Physical therapists advised me to sit in the correct ergonomic position. I find this footrest keeps my body in proper ergonomic alignment; it's a very relaxing, comfortable position. The roller balls in the center allow and encourage me to move my feet from time to time, further relieving stress. Previously I had the habit of bending my knees way back and hooking my feet around the bottom of my chair, which always left me stiff and sore. Now when I get up from the chair, I no longer have discomfort in my back and knees, and I'm very happy with my purchase. Thanks!

I use this footrest for my 'comfy chair' (I have spinal cord injuries) in the living room, and I'd only just gotten around to putting it together yesterday. The screw came out of the wood for the roller which screws into the flat portion of the (seemingly wooden) inside part of the footrest. I remembered my small can of 'plastic wood,' and stuffed some into the collapsed inner portion. I want you to know how disappointed I was that the inside of this item just came apart like that. I'm hoping it will hold up, but if it breaks again I'll have to bring it back to the nearest [...]. [...]

Comments about Balt® Rolax Ergonomic Footrest:

The product was horrible from the beginning. Assembly was required and it was extremely difficult to assemble. The holes were not properly drilled and the screws didn't fit well into the rollers. Once I finally got it together, it worked fairly well for about 2 months then fell apart. It is now trash. What a waste of money!

Comments about Balt® Rolax Ergonomic Footrest:

I used this product M-F, 8 hours per day. Although it's comfortable and rolls easily for adjusting angle and height, it broke after less than three months of use. One of the screws loosened in the particle board. I'm not sure if it's fixable with wood glue. In any event, I must now replace this product with another. Very disappointing

Comments about Balt® Rolax Ergonomic Footrest:

When this product came it was very comfortable but after only using it for 3 weeks the roller/wheels broke through the partical board it is made from. Due to this you cannot put them back in therefore once these brake your product is junk.
