Once I got this chair togehter (difficult by yourself)I loved it! Works well for vertically challenged, doesn't cut off legs at front of chair. I took a chance on the elastic seat and it was worth it. Good, heavy chair.

I AM A CRAFTER AND TEND TO LOOSE TRACK OF TIME ONCE MY CREATIVITY KICKS IN. WITH OTHER CHAIRS VITAL PARTS OF MY BODY GO TO SLEEP OR NUMB. NOT WITH THIS CHAIR. IT'S THE BEST PIECE OF FURNITURE IN MY LIVING ROOM. PEOPLE COME OVER AND WANT TO SIT IN IT, SO NOW I HIDE IT WHEN SOMEONE COMES OVER. IT'S MINE, MINE, MINE. I TELL THEM, GET YOUR OWN. THEN I TELL THEM WHERE TO GO...TO STAPLES OF COURSE THE BEST PRICES WITH THE BEST MERCHANDISE....EVER!!!!

Comfortable chair, but despite carefully assembly, it sheds bolts on a daily basis, and they are not fun to replace. Either a flawed design, or the bolts need to be longer or have a locking mechanism. It's a comfortable chair, but if you don't have a half an hour a day to replace bolts, pick another model.
