Comments about Balt Spine Align Ergonomic Executive High-Back Chair, Black:
I got this chair because I've had some back trouble lately and was told that I needed to improve my posture. I received it last week and was immediately concerned about the quality when I opened the box. The materials and overall appearance look cheap and sloppy when you see them in person. But I didn't want to spend $1,000 on a chair so I figured I was being too picky. When I put the chair together I noticed the arm rests only bolted into the seat of the chair, which is just chip board. I bolted the backrest to the seat as instructed, and could not get it to be exactly straight. I'm pretty handy and I build things and have assembled lots of furniture, so I don't think I did it incorrectly. Once I got the chair together and the adjustments made, it wasn't too terrible. Although it's impossible to have correct posture in the chair due to it's design ( the back leans too much and the head rest is too far back). It would be great for a $100 chair, but it's definitely not worth [$] You're better off either spending more for a really well-made ergonomic chair or saving some money and getting a more reasonable model.
