Comments about Bankers Box® Maximum-Strength Super Stor/Drawer® Storage Drawers, Letter-Size:
I purchased these because I have a small space between my desk and the wall (just under 14") and although regular file cabinets are wider, the dimensions for these drawers are listed at 12 3/4" wide. Unfortunately, the actual banker box may only be 12 3/4", but the finished drawer is 14 1/2". They would probably function just fine, but they're too wide for the space I have.

I purchased 16 of these file boxes to organize our 2011 files. We previously always purchased plain file boxes (the kind with lids) but hate how inconvenient it is to unstack those boxes to get to the one you need. We decided to give these a try, hoping they would be sturdy enough to last. While I will say, the instructions to put them together could be easier to understand in some places, they did a fair job of giving plenty of pictures for reference. Once you realize that you need to assemble all the shells and clip them together before inserting the drawers - it's so easy! They stack nicely and have clips on the front and back to keep them in place. You can open them with one hand (no holding the frame to make sure they stay in place). I absolutely love these and would recommend to anyone. I may even buy a few more to use at home - and am thinking of re-doing the files we currently have in regular boxes! I also love that they are black - it gives it a slightly more stylish look. If you're on the fence - get them! You won't regret it. The quality seems really good and I bet these are going to last us until we decide to throw out the files. They are a bit more expensive than traditional boxes, but you'll save yourself tons of headache so it was well worth it!
