    Great Chair

We have started replacing our office chairs with these and everyone loves them for support and comfort. The adjustable armrest assures that everyone can set their chair to a personal comfort level

I purchased this computer chair because I started coding a website for my business and the long hours in front of a computer were putting a strain to my lower-back, shoulder, and forearm. So much so, that I needed to see a physical therapist because of the pain.

I decided to invest in a computer chair to relieve some of these symptoms. I was searching for a top of the line chair with lumbar support.

I came across this chair from the company HON. It had great reviews and seemed perfect for my rather short stature for being male (I'm 5'8").

    SET UP:
Upon receipt, it is a rather large box. The instructions were pretty easy to follow and it took about 20 minutes to put together.

    MATERIAL:
The material is your basic mesh backing and mesh wrapped cushion. The rest of the chair is comprised of plastic. For the price, this seemed like a huge disadvantage. I would expect at the very least for the base to be metallic.

    SEAT:
The cushion is nothing extraordinary. In hindsight, I would've shelled out the extra $50 or so for a memory foam cushion. I didn't realize how much your bottom actually aches after long periods in front of the computer. The seat really needs to have better cushioning.

    ARMS:
I extended the arms to the highest point and even then it's about an inch below my natural resting point. The arms are also very far apart and I highly doubt a regular-sized human being would be able to rest both arms in that distance. The material is also VERY cheap. Once I went to sit down using the arms to brace my fall and heard a crack from the bottom. There is NO rotation other than up or down.

    BASE:
I have no idea if the reviews are genuine. I am 5'8" and barefoot, at the lowest setting to the ground, I have a 45 degree angle in my legs. I'm sure the reviews were either staged by the company or from women who were wearing heels at the office.

    BACK:
Here is why I invested money in a good chair. Unfortunately, this did not meet expectations. The back of this has a pull-type lever adjustment to recline. However, you have to forcefully push your back in order for the chair to recline. There is also no way to keep it reclined so if you stop pushing backward it pops back into an upright position. So in other words, the recline mechanism is absolutely useless and you won't be using this chair to rest but rather be in a full fledge erect position the entire time.

    MY CONCLUSION:
I needed a chair right away and tried to make the best investment possible via the web. Ideally, I would've went into a store and tried many options before investing in a chair that fits well (But who has the time?). In hindsight, I would've returned this chair (Even if it took repackaging this) and purchased a cheap chair made by Staples. I really hate wasting money (Especially being an entrepreneur) and this was one of those regrets.

We received this chair and everyone loves it.
It is more comfortable than the really expensive chair we got, but are now returning and ordering more of these.
Easy to assemble and great quality.
The seat is deep enough to give good support to the back of your legs, especially if your spend long days sitting.

Ordered one of these chairs and everyone was wanting one too.
This chair was nicer and more comfortable than the $600 chair we ordered and returned.
Nice deep seat with good back support and comfortable to sit on for long periods of time.
Just ordered a couple more for others in the office.
