We have been ordering this coffee for sometime now, but the last two shipments have had some really poor quality coffee. The coffee has been bitter and sour as of late and nobody wants to drink it anymore. We have given up on this brand and are now looking for a replacement. Staples was nice enough to send free replacements and when those were no good, they did refund us the money (A+ on their behalf).

                  Is Bay Traders Coffee certified Kosher?

                  • A:

                    Bay Traders is not certified Kosher. The only Kosher coffee sold by Staples is Folgers Classic Roast Ground Coffee, Regular, 48 oz. Can. However, for regular whole-bean, un-flavored coffee, no kosher certification is needed. The coffee can be treated like a raw vegetable and does not need a hechsher unless it has been chemically processed. Some people prefer the Kosher certification to ensure that the coffee has not been contaminated.
