Seems to be working fine for extending my mouse cord for my USB connection. I needed about an extra 2 feet from what was provided with the USB mouse.

Comments about Belkin 2.6' A/A Retractable USB Extension Cable:

I use this product as an extension of my Air Card. It allows me to plug-in to one of my USB ports and receive a Mobile / Wi-Fi signal strength much higher then without one. Also the heat of the computer does NOT effect the Air Card with the extension. And fits compactly in my computer carry-on bag.

Can I use this USB Cable to connect my MacBook Pro to my Epson Workforce 630 Printer, Scanner, Copier, Fax machine? I want to scan a multiple page document into one PDF document, and my Workforce 630 only allows me to scan one page at a time, creating a one page PDF document. Will this cable allow me to scan multiple pages? Thanks in advance for your help.

                  A:

Yes, it will contact to printers and other machines, but this is a just a USB extension cable to be used with a USB cable to extend the operating distance. This will not help you scan multiple pages.

              • Q:

I have a MacBook Pro. There is limited wireless signal in our metal building and it does not work at my desk in my office. Therefore, I am using a Verizon wireless card for internet access. There are two usb ports in the side of my laptop and they are side-by-side...one is being used for the wireless card and the other would be for my printer cable. However, the Verizon wireless card is too wide and will not allow for the cable from my printer to go into the usb port on my laptop. Is there any sort of "extension" that would allow me to move my wireless card out further so that I can plug in my printer?
